The hydrophilic membrane features a moisturizer, a cleanser and a super-absorbent, starch, co-polymer. It protects the wound as it promotes the body's natural healing process. The dressing feels like foam and maintains a moist environment. It also contains a mild, nontoxic cleansing agent activated by moisture that is gradually released into the wound bed.
